Quaker Steak and Lube in Fairborn, Ohio

A part of a large restaurant chain, Quaker Steak and Lube has a number of locations throughout the Midwest including Iowa, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. One such location is in Fairborn, Ohio, just minutes from the campus of Wright State University. Quaker Steak and Lube provides a menu similar to that of a sports bar. A few of their most popular dishes include chicken wings (in a number of flavors and levels of "heat"), flatbreads (similar to pizza), salads, burgers and ribs. You can also enjoy the Lube's version of various popular drinks including the Lube Island (or Long Island) Iced Tea, the Daytona Daiquiri and Strawberry Lube-N-Ade (a non-alcoholic frozen drink), as well as a dessert collection. Quaker Steak and Lube is great for group gatherings or a weekend family dinner. In addition to a special menu for the kids, the restaurant also houses several arcade games and televisions. The kids will also be thrilled with the Harley sitting in the reception area, and the racing car that is suspended from the walls. A family of four can eat at this car-themed restaurant for around $50.

The Station Grill in Muskegon, MI

An independently owned restaurant in West Michigan, the Station Grill is crowded nearly every night of the week. They are most known for their variety burgers, nachos and salads. The locals gather at the Station Grill to watch sports or just catch up. It is however a very small facility with limited seating, so there is oftentimes a wait for a table. The name Station Grill is representative of the facilities history, having previously been a gas/service station. In addition to a half-corvette hanging from the wall, there is interesting artwork and seating all designed with the automobile and service station in mind.
